Week 1: Most patients take this time off from work while the swelling and bruising fade. Adhere closely to the post-procedure instructions provided. Some discomfort is normal, but most patients manage this with even OTC pain medication (e.g., acetaminophen).
Week 2: Most patients return to work and can resume lighter physical activities. Swelling and bruising should continue to fade.
